and what I get as a result (date not filled in) :
I thought you were talking about what was imported from the iCal event to mobilizon not from mobilizon to the import tool. Actually you were absolutely right there was a bug with the english date format. The date should now be read whatever the user locale and timezone.

I don’t know about the mobilizon front-end but you can from the import tool. I think it makes sense for a user to publish under his own identity without group.
Hi, I make here a quick recap of what remains unsolved from all above :
Linebreaks on ical after importer action :
I understand that it is a complex topic, and may be there could be a solution by changing the code for breaklines in order to solve this… if this solution is wanted…
Importing event from mobilizon (duplication in fact) :
I confirm that the importing of an event from mobilizon is now working, with the correct date and hours, EXCEPT WHEN there is no hours defined (all day event) : the importer decides it is from 12am to 11:59am (which is not possible by the way)
Extra Suggestion : if on an event page, there would be a button : “duplicate this event into my group” that could be very useful and much shorter than opening the importer and pasting the url. This would be more regarding an integration within mobilizon (do you think it would be useful @Lahax ? ).
In the end, these are now smaller issues, and we can say that the main question “event importer from facebook into mobilizon” is globaly solved… I wait for your answers on the two points above and it will be probably time to close this successful topic ![]()
Hi @Nicotourist,
I confirm that the importing of an event from mobilizon is now working, with the correct date and hours, EXCEPT WHEN there is no hours defined (all day event) : the importer decides it is from 12am to 11:59am (which is not possible by the way)
Could you give me an example so I can see what’s the date format for all day events ?
Other requests are relative to Mobilizon not the import tool.
