How to automatically sync files from a folder into a peertube instance?

How can I automatically sync .mp4 files from a server’s file into the instance automatically?

Maybe with Syncthing ?

what is that?

« Syncthing is a continuous file synchronization program. It synchronizes files between two or more computers in real time, safely protected from prying eyes. »

Very efficient  .

So I still have to manually upload?

Of course, you upload them to your server and then they will sync with your peertube instance. That’s not what you wanted to do ?

so this doesn’t work?

Hmmm… maybe I misunderstood your question.

I thought it was to synchronize 2 different servers. You uploaded your videos on your files server and wanted to have the same videos available on your Peertube server.

I was wrong ?

you were correct.

I am just wondering if it could just be automated rather than I puting in a hand, and having to download the file onto my pc and press upload

what does this have to do with my post?

TO be more clear @yostral, I want to know how to upload a video into the peertube instance (which is publicly avaliable via a link) throught the terminal

Then PeerTube/support/doc/tools.md at develop · Chocobozzz/PeerTube · GitHub is the way to go
