Mastodon verification doesn't work

I am trying to get Mastodon to verify my ownership of a peertube server, but it is not working.

I have have placed the link

<a rel="me" href="https://solarsystem.social/@planetary_research_cooperative">Mastodon verification</a>

At the bottom of the home page, which is visible here: https://solarsystem.video

Yet, as you can verify from the mastodon site, it is not verified.

Am I doing something wrong?

Can you try to update your instance description to add <a rel="me" href="https://solarsystem.social/@planetary_research_cooperative">Mastodon verification</a>?

Sure, but what do you mean by “instance description’“? Is this accessible from the GUI? I can edit the config files if you tell me which one and where.
