I’m the administrator of two PeerTube servers. One has existed since 2024 and the other one is quite new.
When it comes to upgrades, the experience is quite different for each of the servers. That is, where the new config file that is created in the upgrade process on the new server, the .new file, as far as I remember, have been usable the way it has been created. For the old server, however, there usually a lot of « tracking lines » that needs to be removed, and duplicate properties that need to be removed. Typically, some setting early in the file is left, in addition to a new addition of the same properties in the bottom of the file.
Is there something I can do to clean up the file, so that it goes as smoothly as for the new server?
