There’s a host platform that only works with Docker images. Would Peertube work in Docker?

Would Docker slow it down?

ok thank you. and do you know if I’m supposed to be setting up my own separate email software like postfix/dovecot on my own? or is it integrated in the docker image?

for sending outgoing emails to subscribers

The docker image does not have a bundled mail server, but the docker compose provided file has one, as detailled in the link I gave you.
