I have PeerTube 3.0.1 running for some time now and in general it runs as expected. I normally import new videos from my YouTube channel (which, for the time being remains the main publication platform as people can subscribe to it way more easily). I use the youtube url for the import. The import usually goes fine, but more often than not it then gets ‹ stuck › on « waiting transcoding ». The system is idle (it’s a dedicated server for PeerTube) and there really shouldn’t be a reason for it to « wait » to transcode for up to ten hours(!). So, why does this happen? Is it a bug? Can it be remedied?
