ActivityPub: How to follow a PeerTube user from Mastodon?

I gather ActivityPub platforms allow following/subscription across applications. I want to follow a PeerTube user from my Mastodon account. I didn’t manage to do it yet. Is it supported at all (Peertube 3.0), and if so, how do I accomplish that?

hi @febeling, this is certainly possible : by looking up the desired user or channel handle or url in you Mastodon search bar, and subscribing from there.

or alternatively:

For channels that works analogously:

https://tube.nowlive.app/video-channels/belcantocat

or:

@belcantocat@tube.nowlive.app

And you can follow an entire peertube instance via @peertube@instance.uri
