Automatic past event deletion (user-configurable or admin-configurable)

Mastodon features a user-configured option to automatically delete old posts. i’d argue that since events are limited in time, they have a bigger incentive to be deleted past a certain expiration.
Mastodon’s automatic post deletion settings are quite complicated, but there’s no need for that here. a simple « automatically delete past events » with a user-configurable « time since event end » threshold should definitely suffice.

i’m thinking of this mainly as a user feature, but honestly an admin feature of the like would be beneficial as well.

i don’t think many users/admins would use this, but it still doesn’t mean this shouldn’t exist.
