I wanted to play with network visualization. Do you think something like this could be useful?
Shown is a network of mobilizon groups. Groups are connected if they have followers in common. The edges are the thicker the more follower they have in common.
In this way I hope to help people to discover groups which might be interesting for them. Based on what groups they already like they can see what other groups are connected.
Currently only the local network is visible. Since here I (as an administrator) know the number of common followers. However, groups from other instances/parts of the fediverse could be (optionally) shown as well.
This work is based on visJS with html generated by pyvis (python).
