The peertube system has some severe problems that make it worse than common video platforms like youtube.
There are 3 fundamental problems:
(1) Lack of a unified search engines to browser videoes from all instances.
(2)Lack of an easy way to subscribe to channels from different instances.
(3) Most peertube clients are buggy including this one.The only good client I found was P2Play. If these issues are solved then,
Peertube>>>>>Any other video hosting platform on Earth

With 1), you can search channels from different instances and subscribe to them.
What do you mean by « this »?

Uhmm back to topic,
1.Sepia search should be integrated in official peertube client as its rough to search on official client
2.By subscribe,I mean I cannot easily subscribe through the official client to other channels that are outside the instance I used to create my account
3.Yes,the official peertube client is heavy.P2Play client on gitlab can be taken as a good example of how a client should work seamlessly.
I don’t mean to hate on the project,please forgive my bad English if this comes off as a harsh comment.I have no idea how to put it into better words.
I want to recommend peertube to the creators I like but none of the people in my real life want to use it and the main reason behind it is usability. I cannot put it into better words but it should be easy to use otherwise userbase will not grow and it will eventually die

Yes,I understand what you are saying about mastodon,I have tried it too.
The client I was talking about is official peertube client,its buggy.I am going to report some bugs on github soon.
I had a hard time understanding how peertube exactly works but I figured it out after watching some YouTube videoes that explain how to use the peertube network.
It would be really great if a tutorial is published on the website because I found it extremely hard to use it.Specially,how to subscribe and discover channels.

Please add a tutorial,I feel very dumb now and the app needs improvements, it’s buggy for me,the one I mentioned above
I am using newpipe from github/fdroid right now and compared to the official peertube client,its very easy to subscribe,stream and change instances unlike the official peertube client on playstore.
This is the kind of thing that makes it very easy to access peertube and I don’t even need an account to subscribe.
I know this got offtopic but I unfortunately was having a very hard time with the official peertube client unlike this one.
Now,I have transferred my YouTube channels to peertube seamlessly.I have no issues now.The main thing that was making my experience bad was the official client.I can now finally watch videoes easily on newpipe .Thanks again peertube team for creating the peerverse
