Filter settings in "Browsing Videos" not saved

In “Browsing Videos”, the default is to show VOD & Live videos. I don’t want the Live videos to show, so I can change the Type option to “VOD videos”. However, Peertube doesn’t remember this settings, so I have to change the Type option every time.

My questions are:

  • Is there any way to set the default Type option to “VOD videos” instead lf “VOD & Live videos”? I didn’t find any related settings in user account configuration, nor in production.yaml.
  • If not, I wonder why it wasn’t implemented. Saving such options (or all the filtering settings) seems to make sense.

(And I didn’t find an issue on Github talking about this)

Hi,

It’s not possible but I think we can create a « default browse videos options » for admins.

Or let us set the default options in production.yaml or local-production.yaml. Thanks.
