Following channels

I have a PeerTube channel on a PT instance, solarsystem.video, running on a server at a university in Paris, and I have my own PT instance (and channels of course), filmspace.lightcurvefilms.com running at my own server in Portugal. I want to follow my channel at solarsystem.video from the FilmSpace instance.. When I go to root - Federation and add the name of my channel on solarsystem.video, it seems to recognise it, and it says a request is sent. In the list of the “following” it appears as “pending”. On the other end on solarsystem.video, I do not get any message or notification about needing to accept any request.

When the administrator of the solarsystem.video instance writes: “When I search for « @lightcurvefilmsatfilmspace_channel@filmspace.lightcurvefilms.com » on mastodon or peertube, nothing comes up, so I am assuming that your server is somehow blocking incoming traffic or fediverse federation.“

Does anyone have any insights to offer as to what would be the problem?

Thx et merci!

I think there’s something wrong with https://filmspace.lightcurvefilms.com/ certificate:

➜ curl https://filmspace.lightcurvefilms.com/accounts/peertube
curl: (60) SSL certificate OpenSSL verify result: unable to get local issuer certificate (20)
More details here: https://curl.se/docs/sslcerts.html

curl failed to verify the legitimacy of the server and therefore could not
establish a secure connection to it. To learn more about this situation and
how to fix it, please visit the webpage mentioned above.
