Home page really slow loading

I just changed managed hosting provider and the home page on my instance (https://fedi.video) is now really slow to load.

Anyone got any ideas why this is so slow? I copied the home page code over from the previous host (though I was unable to copy database over as old host wasn’t responding to emails). The rest of the site seems to load reasonably quickly, but the front page is a bit painful.

It’s weird your SQL database seems to be quite slow to list videos even if you don’t have that much videos in your federation (~10 000).

Anyway I think Optimize homepage videos query · Chocobozzz/PeerTube@92fb7a2 · GitHub should mitigate your issue (will be included in v6 planned for the end of the month)
