Moving videos/storage from one folder to another?

Hello, and thank you so much for peer tube.

I need to specify a new folder for peertube storage while keeping the videos that exist.

I mounted a new drive, partitioned and set it up, and created a directory which I then mounted the drive to.

Can someone please explain how I can keep my old videos and specify within the configuration of peer tube My new folder where it should be storing videos?

Is there a better solution for this? Can I stop adding videos to my main drive and start adding new videos to the new one which I mounted to a folder?

Thank you so much for any help You can provide,

Ns

Thank you, I was trying to do it this way on my debian server but can’t pvcreate on the main (/dev/vda) to create a VG for it because the drive says it’s busy.

Hi, You can move a fil or folder from one folder to another by dragging it from its current location and dropping it into the destination folder , just as you would with a file on your desktop. Folder Tree: Right-click the file or folder you want, and from the menu that displays click Move or Copy.
