New video not showing up on Mastadon

Earlier today, a video was posted on our server: Riksantikvartimen - Kulturmiljø og beredskap – ny ROS-veileder for kulturmiljø - Riksantikvaren

I’m following the posting account @ra@peertube.ra.no from my Mastodon-account, but the new video is not showing up in the feed there, like has been the case for previous videos.

What can be the reason for that, and is it possible to force it? Most of the followers are following from Mastodon, so it means that they will be unaware of this new video (unless, of course, this problem only applies to me).
The video comes from a YouTube-synchronization.

Only the previous video is available in the feed:

When I force-loaded the video, by adding the URL to the search field in Mastodon, it became visible in the user’s feed.

I’ve asked other followers, and for some of them the video came up as normal, while others had the same experience as I did. It would be nice to know what might be the reason for this, and if there’s something to do about it.

That"s how mastodon works. The same issue exists between mastodon instances.

When you start following an account, if your server has not federated with the remote server yet, you will only see new posts.
If at least one user of your instance has previously followed this account, then you will also have the history.

Yes, I know. The case here, however, is that I, and the other users who have testes, have been following the Peertube-user for some time and have received new videos in my/their feed before.

As seen in the screenshot, only the previous video is part of the feed, not the new one mentioned.

I’m also the administrator on that Peertube server, and nothing has changed on that end.

Does it happen with every new video uploaded on PeerTube? It may have been a temporary bug/issue between peertube and mastodon

I haven’t experienced it before, but of course, I have no way of knowing if others have missed out on some videos. There haven’t been many videos posted after people started following, so the sample size is not that great.

I did a test just now, uploading 3 videos (including the one mentioned in this thread) to my personal account/channel on the server, and they all showed up just fine. Hopefully it was just a temporary issue.
