Hi, HLS is great functionality for livestreaming which Peertube supports. Support for audio-only VOD downloads from an HLS stream is in the 2024 roadmap, but is currently unsupported.
The problem we are experiencing is that we can’t stop the instance streaming using HLS. Even after we untick the checkbox, the streams still happen in HLS. It is something like the cache for the settings won’t refresh. Restarting the instance doesn’t solve it.
Any ideas or suggestions?
