Peertube claims my credentials are incorrect

I opted for the docker install method and I replaced what the instructions said to replace.

<MY POSTGRES USERNAME>
<MY POSTGRES PASSWORD>
<MY DOMAIN> without 'https://'
<MY EMAIL ADDRESS>
<MY PEERTUBE SECRET>

I also have my own proxy via nginx proxy manager, commented out the blocks pertaining to peertube’s proxy. The container spins up just fine and I am able to access it through port 9000, but trying to login via the postgres credentials that I have set; the container claims my username and password is incorrect.
