PeerTube is a great software, but I think the name could be better. I think, the peer-to-peer feature is not such a central feature that it should be considered in the name. Merely ActivityPub is more important.
We could come up with a more appropriate name for PeerTube. You don’t even have to use P2P feature so it’s strange that it’s in the name. Tube suffix is good, but I think we could also think names without it. PeerTube is not a YouTube clone. It’s software for video services.
So, what do you think? Am I completely wrong and fool?
