PeerTube + Oracle

Hello everyone, I would like to know if there is a possibility to use Oracle as a database instead of PostgreSQL. I know that in the official documentation PostgreSQL is used and I don’t see anything referring to Oracle.

If so, I would like to know the steps I should follow or modify in my configuration to achieve this, if I have to create a schema, etc.

If it is only intended to use PostgreSQL I would also like to know so I don’t try tests that don’t get me anywhere.

Thank you very much

Unfortunately PeerTube is only compatible with PostgreSQL and not Oracle (or MySQL/MariaDB/SQLite etc.).

Thank you very much for the quick reply @Chocobozzz ! In the near future is it planned to be able to implement PeerTube with other databases or not at the moment?

Thanks again :slightly_smiling_face:

No it’s not planned
