PeerTube RSS High Memory Usage

Hello all,

I’m new to the platform. I’ve setup an instance of PeerTube 6.0.2 with Prometheus and Grafana to monitor. During a test of 3 streams with 4 viewers, I noticed the Peertube RSS memory utilization increased significantly and didn’t reduce after the streaming was complete. I had to restart the instance to get the memory back down.

Should I be concerned or is this expected? Any input would be appreciated.

Hi,

~500MB of RSS seems fine. PeerTube lazy runs worker threads to process some tasks, so I think it’s expected the RAM increases like that. But if RAM usage is still increasing forever, there is a bug :slight_smile:
