Other than Ports 80, 443, and these stream ports (1935/TCP and 1936/TCP ) does anything else have to be opened?
Nope that’s all!
Tell me, why is it 1936, is the broadcast 1935, or is this an additional port?
For RTMP with TLS (RTMPS): PeerTube/config/production.yaml.example at develop · Chocobozzz/PeerTube · GitHub
Thank you, but as I see it is disabled by default, that’s why I asked what it is as an additional one, apparently
rtmps:
enabled: false
# Listening hostname/port for RTMPS server
# '::' to listen on IPv6 and IPv4, '0.0.0.0' to listen on IPv4
# Use null to automatically listen on '::' if IPv6 is available, or '0.0.0.0' otherwise
hostname: null
port: 1936
If you don’t enable it in the config you don’t need to open the port in your firewall
