The page that gives the status of PeerTube instances is helpful ( PeerTube instances ), but I think it would be more helpful if it could provide, instead of the lone smiley icon, a date of the last OK status of the server.
As an example, I try to get “my” PeerTube server (spdns.org), that seems to be down, but I don’t know since when… (so whether it is a temporary issue or a serious one)
I’m seeing that the PeerTube instances page, is reporting version 4.3.0 for that instance. I was way behind in terms of updating and just broke a 6.2.3 (I think) to 6.3.0 update. I’m suspecting this is a long term issue that isn’t likely to get resolved. It says, “in recent days the instance has been available 66% of the time” which might be a fair indication it’s not serious but:
My two instances, indicate the new one is looking good, but the old one is “not terrible…” But it’s been several days of being essentially non-functional, though only recently was fully down. And honestly, it could be said to be “not down” because it’s actually redirecting (sort of) to the new instance.

thanks for you advice ! However, if the version can be a good indicator of the health of the site, I notice that for instance peertube.020.pl is in version 2.4.0 and seems to be OK…
Oh, version isn’t an indicator of health of site, just an indicator of how recently there has been an attempt to update the site. I do understand why many will be installed, and not updated. Several times when updating I’ve ended up breaking it to a point that it just is not going to be able to restore it. So that could be why it’s not getting updated.
