Hi all, I noticed that on /admin/settings/config/edit-custom#instance-information, some of the fields support « full » markdown (e.g. headings), while other fields only limited markup works (e.g. bold works, but headings or monospaced words do not).
Is this by design and why the difference? And maybe can it be indicated what is and is not supported in those fields?
The « Description » field lists that Markdown is supported. And I can use e.g. a heading in that field which will be rendered as a heading.
The « Terms », « Code of conduct », « Moderation information », « Who is behind the instance? », « Why did you create this instance? », « How long do you plan to maintain this instance? », « How will you finance the PeerTube server? », « What server/hardware does the instance run on? » field has no information about whether Markdown is supported or not. When trying this, it seems that a heading is not supported, but bold and italic, and bullet lists are.
So clearly some kind of Markdown is supported for fields in group 2, but a different set than for « Description ». My question is why the difference between the fields and how to find out what is supported for the second group.
